Capacity Is Part of the Workflow

DISPATCH  ·  LOGGED WITH MAI

Claude Opus 5.5 came with the usual model news: better work, lower cost, higher limits.

The useful part is the limit.

Most teams still buy AI like software seats. Count the users. Pick the plan. Roll it out. Then the first serious users hit the wall halfway through actual work and everyone acts surprised.

That wall is not a personal inconvenience anymore. It is workflow evidence.

If a manager uses AI to compare notes, draft a handoff, prepare a client call, and catch risk before Friday, usage is not casual. It is production behavior. When that work stops at a quota, the tool does not feel limited. It feels unreliable.

The fix is not always the biggest plan. It might be role-based access. It might be trained operators. It might be a rule for which work gets routed through AI and which does not.

But someone has to own it.

A company is not AI-native because people have logins.

It gets there when the system survives the workday.
